She's a very kind, intelligent, and funny individual, and we had a lot of fun finding my house. Sue was EXTREMELY responsive. She responded to emails, phone calls, and text messages very quickly. She was additionally almost always available (beat that alliteration!) to view homes when I was available. She knows the business! I definitely recommend her highly with no reservations whatsoever. If any of my friends or family ask for a realtor referral, there's only one name on my list!

She was so great with everything, every step of the way. Whenever I had a question via email or phone, she responded quickly and was able to answer or help immediately. ! If you are interested in buying a house and want someone you can trust and count on Sue is the one. She stuck by my side the whole time, and I mean my whole 5 month closing process. I had a terrible, TERRIBLE lender who after extending my closing date out twice, ended up not even being able to fund me!! after all this nonsense i was over it!! Sue, however wasn't. she immanently got me working with 2 new lenders and of course got the house closed.. Yeaaaaa!!!! She is truly the only reason I myself didn't give up. Long story short, I will Sue for all my real estate needs for the rest of my life...!! Even my kids love her :)

Sue was in constant and quick communication with us, calling and texting, making sure she knew how we wanted to proceed. She often motivated us to keep our heads in the game and kept us organized. She was always available to show us houses and suggest new houses fresh on the market, every single day. We saw so many houses. She knows the market and helped us put in a competitive offer that was also under appraisal. As well, she was able to help us understand what we saw in a house and whether a house seemed to have “good bones” or not. When we finally did get our offer accepted (and we were exhausted of house stuff by this time), she coordinated everything up through closing: oil tank sweep, sewer scope, inspection, several general contractor, chimney and roofer quotes, and lots of communication with the seller’s agent. It was all the small stuff that Sue did that added up and that we appreciated so much, like texting us at 10 at night “So, what did you guys think of that last house?” or a phone call “They are putting the radon fan in this room. Is that ok with you all?” and an email after we bought the house with contacts for floors and window quotes. She was obviously working for our benefit the entire time. We are very happy to have worked with Sue.

And the second thing is someone who is knowledgeable--who knows the local market and knows what it takes to sell a property. Based on these criteria, Sue is in a class by herself. I could not manage the sale from 3,000 miles away. Sue managed it as if it were her own.

We met three other realtors in the beginning stages of our search and decided to go with Sue because she was so easy to be around and we felt absolutely no pressure from her to work with her. She exudes a quiet confidence that immediately won our trust. Being first time buyers, we were quite ignorant about the whole process and she was patient with us every moment. She answered all of our elementary questions and never made us feel like she didn't have the time. She knew a lot about different areas (school quality, resale potential, city grants, etc) of Portland and always gave us honest and thorough answers. She never left us feeling stressed or anxious about the process. She would often bring her husband, Rich, along for showings and my husband and I always felt like we were with an Aunt and Uncle looking out for our best interest, often forgetting that this was a professional transaction. And the most impressive part is Sue got us our first bid! We didn't expect that in this market. She is very dedicated to her clients to say the least. We are so impressed with Sue and feel so lucky to have met her and Rich and don't think we'd be in this amazing situation without her.

She always got back to us right away and she wasn't pushy like some realtors are. She was very knowledgeable and always brought me a sheet on all the properties we looked at. I enjoyed our time together looking at homes. I would definitely go with her again.

She was a pleasure to work with and found the perfect house for us. She navigated the seller's picky demands and took good care of us. Sue attended the closing and made everything most convenient for us. It was not a stressful situation, which buying a new house often is.
